When I was fifteen my brother handed me a beat up Minolta XG-2 camera. It had been passed down from our grandfather to our father, to him, and now to me.
Years later for a college project, using the love of photography I created a short film called Children 2000. Dedicated to Unicef, it led to the mobilization of a million college students to better the lives of kids in their local communities worldwide.
It was a simple lesson. Small actions can have big impacts. Whether it’s volunteering locally or working on a larger cause, I believe we can all make a difference. And the Earth desperately needs our help. A proud Waste Warrior, I’m currently developing an app to help people understand their eco-footprint. Learn more at www.siitch.com
